Most indie films fail the same four ways: they overspend, they have no release plan, they count on festivals to save them, and they lose everyone's money. We built our whole approach to not do those four things.

Our Moneyball Strategy:

We're not the Dodgers. We don't win by outspending anyone. We're the Rays — no payroll, no flash, but a system that competes every year. We write to what we can actually control: limited locations, a real schedule, no flying to Iceland for a script that didn't need Iceland. We've shot a 40-page script in three days and sold out the theater. A 20-page in two days — sold out. We know how a film gets finished before we start, and that discipline is exactly why your money goes onto the screen instead of into overhead.

More Than Just a Movie:

This one's personal. It's about two brothers — which is a relationship I understand from the inside — and it's about a man who loved one thing his whole life and had to figure out who he was when it was taken from him.

Matt was going to be somebody. A real prospect, a jersey with his name on it, a father in the stands telling him the whole world was watching. Three years later he's back home running his ailing father's construction company, and he and his younger brother start rigging pitches out of a garage just to make payroll. It starts small — one bet, for good reasons. River would do anything to keep his brother close. Matt would do anything to get back on the field. And when it all catches up with them, Matt is offered a way out that costs him nothing except the one person who never stopped believing in him.

It's not really about betting. It's about the almost — being told you're special, building your whole self around one thing, and what you're willing to do to the people you love to keep chasing it. These are the films that leave you connected, a little heartbroken, and reminded you're part of something human. That's what we're trying to make.
